The Goalie Academy is committed to holding camps for you and for your children based upon your promise to attend the camp as per your registration and tuition payment. To that end, we are required to uphold the following policies:

1.        Students for all camps are accepted on a first registered, first paid basis and registration is very limited.

2.        Students for the Elite/Advanced camp will be invited or taken upon special consideration only and registration is limited to AA experience and higher and a minimum age of 12 years is required.

3.        All registrations will be accepted and placed initially on a waiting list until your payment in full has been received.  Payments can be made via credit card and/or check or money order.  If paying by check or money order, please mail two (2) checks or money orders:

a.  A Non-Refundable deposit in the amount of $200.00

b.  A check for the balance of the tuition dated one month prior to the camp start date.

4.        All payments should be made payable to The Goalie Academy, Inc. and mailed to:

The Goalie Academy c/o Darren Hersh

45524 Grand Central Square

Sterling, VA  20166

5.        A charge of $15.00 will be added for returned checks due to insufficient funds. This fee will cover the bank processing fee plus our own administrative fee.

6.        Discounts DO NOT apply to the Elite/Advanced, Extreme or Overnight camps and only one (1) discount is applicable per registrant and per registration.

7.        The Wimpy Award winner is entitled to a free Enhancement camp or they can apply $400.00 toward the tuition of an Elite/Advanced or Extreme camp, if he/she meets the requirements outlined above.

8.        The Goalie Academy reserves the right to NOT accept an applicant based on past behavior.

9.        The Goalie Academy also reserves the right to withhold all tuition monies in the event that a child is required to leave the camp for behavioral or disciplinary reasons.  Should a behavioral or disciplinary problem arise, the coaches will ask the child to leave the ice or to sit on the bench for an amount of time justified by the act.  If the behavior continues, the coach may ask the child to leave the camp for the remainder of the time of the camp. Some behavioral or disciplinary actions may lead to immediate expulsion.

10.     Some Goalie Academy camps are NOT overnight camps.  For non-overnight camps, all out of town campers will need to find lodging.  Contact us for suggestions.  At all camps, lunch is NOT provided unless otherwise indicated. Luch is provided for weeklong camps.

11.     Goalies must provide their own equipment and all equipment must be HECC approved and must fit properly or the goalie will not be allowed on the ice.

Cancellation Policies

Camp Cancellation by The Goalie Academy:  The Goalie Academy will fully reimburse all paid monies to campers in the unlikely event that The Goalie Academy cancels a camp.

Camp cancellation by camper and/or parent/guardian:  If cancellation occurs 30 days before the camp start date, the camper will receive a reimbursement of paid tuition minus the $200.00 non-refundable deposit.

If cancellation occurs within 29 days of the camp start date, then the camper will only receive a refund of paid tuition less the $200.00 non-refundable deposit if and only if The Goalie Academy fills the camper’s spot.  If The Goalie Academy does not fill spot then no payments will be reimbursed.
